Assistant Vice President, Art & Culture (Innovation & Business Development)
Job Summary
Job Description
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a holistic perspective business approach
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with the Art & Culture BU's business goals, objectives, and branding
- Develop and deliver business plans for Art & Culture programs, including testing concepts, feasibility studies and writing business cases
- Oversee the implementation of design and business strategies to achieve the desired outcomes
- Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate design strategies and business opportunities to internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with Investment and Asset Management to ensure income targets are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other BUs, communication and sales, design to ensure seamless execution of design initiatives
- Provide guidance and strategic initiatives to other business units to ensure that all business units within the company are working towards a shared strategic vision
- Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies that may impact the BU's products and services
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry leaders
Key Qualification
- Master’s degree in business management or arts/design management or a related field \
- 5+ years of experience in business development and design strategy
- Strong understanding of business principles and financial analysis
- Strong strategic and creative thinking skills and be able to translate business strategy into innovative product developments, operational goals, and activities
- Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to inform design and business decisions
- Ability to seek and develop new relationships to achieve strategic business objectives
- Have a genuine interest in and enthusiasm for art & design; must keep up with market trends and events within the art, design and cultural sector and continually research and explore the world of art/design and culture while being aware of competitors
- Strong understanding of strategic branding and communication
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Possess teamworking skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Display professionalism
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English
