Job Description
- Assist in the management of assigned assets, focusing on financial and operational performance to meet company objectives.
- Analyze asset performance metrics, including financial statements, operational data, and market trends, to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, hotel management, and external consultants to ensure alignment of objectives and strategies.
- Support the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to assess the impact of business decisions and monitor asset performance.
- Assist in the development and execution of asset management strategies to optimize returns and achieve business goals.
- Ensure assets comply with regulatory requirements and prepare regular reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to support strategic decisions and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage documentation related to asset performance, contracts, and other relevant records to maintain organized and up-to-date information.
Key Qualification
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, finance, or a related field is typically required. Advanced qualifications like an MBA, while beneficial, are not mandatory at this level.
- 5 years of relevant experience in hotel operations, asset management, or similar roles. Hands-on exposure to hotel performance management and financial oversight within the hospitality industry is highly valued.
- A strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and revenue management is essential. Executives are expected to assist with reviewing financial statements, identifying trends, and supporting the development of strategic asset management plans.
- Proficiency in using data and benchmarking tools to analyze hotel performance and market trends is necessary. Executives will interpret data to identify areas for performance improvement and support decision-making.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is important for managing reports, financial analysis, and presentations. Familiarity with asset management systems can be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with hotel management, owners, and other stakeholders. Executives must effectively present data and recommendations.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, along with the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments, is essential. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks are highly valued.
