Job Summary
To procure OS&E items /MEP Equipment for One Bangkok Project
1. Manage tender package as assigned.
2. Manage Bulk purchase tender package with internal team
3. Negotiate with Contractors and suppliers
4. Prepare all documents for internal approval
5. Ensuring the accuracy of purchasing activities and achievement of deadlines.
Job Description
Obtain and review requirements and specifications from internal users on standard goods and services to be acquired
Review purchase requisitions, prepare purchase orders, tender documents, comparison of quotations and other required documents
Follow up on outstanding orders and advise user departments of status
Supervise and monitor receiving of goods and services
Analyse market trends to anticipate likely price fluctuations, for the purpose of maintaining inventory
Maintain the Procurement System
Perform other duties as assigned
Award Contractors/vendors, complying to project Quality and Specification requirements in timely manner within approved budgeted cost
Award the assigned package within approved schedule
Build up, register and maintain a list of approved and qualified vendors, suppliers and service providers based on cost, ability to meet product specifications, efficiency and quality of their operations, on-time delivery
Ability to source goods locally to avoid lengthy importation delays and tax
Key Qualification
Bachelor in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or higher in purchasing and supply chain, economics, business management or related fields.
Min 4 years experience of relevant working in procurement as Asst. Purchase manager, with expertise in construction. hotel, retail industry or pre-opening experiences will be an advantage.
Good team player, able to coordinate with fellow team members and be able to coordinate and work with other departmental teams.
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing
Excellent communication both English & Thai and negotiation skills.
Pleasant personality, fast learner, enthusiastic, positive attitude and result oriented.
Competent user of MS Office programs, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SAP etc.
High integrity and ethical working manner.
Self-starter, detail-oriented, and good analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines.
Able to work under pressure.
