Job Summary

To Assist Construction Vice President in managing and coordinating all construction activities across assigned zones and compartments. Support in ensuring project delivery in line with quality, design, time, EH&S, and cost objectives. Facilitate communication and coordination among design, PM/CM, cost control, consultants, and contractors, while maintaining safety and sustainability standards.

Job Description

  • Support VP, Construction in overseeing day-to-day construction operations and project milestones.

  • Coordinate with design teams, project managers, cost control, procurement, consultants, and contractors to align with project objectives.

  • Assist in monitoring budgets, schedules, and resource allocations, and provide progress updates to VP, Construction.

  • Participate in quality assurance and control processes to ensure standards are met.

  • Assist in managing site safety to achieve zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI) and maintain compliance with EH&S requirements.

  • Help in the preparation of regular reports, including cost, progress, risk, and stakeholder updates.

  • Facilitate logistics planning to ensure smooth site operations and minimal disruption.

  • Support in risk identification, mitigation measures, and maintaining the project risk register.

  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives, including waste management and knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Assist in project finalization activities such as defect management, as-built documentation, and handover to Facility Management.

Key Qualification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 12–15 years in the construction industry, preferably with experience in large-scale international projects.

  • Proven track record in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex project interfaces.

  • Experience in cost control, scheduling, and quality management processes.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety management, and QA/QC standards.

  • Effective communication and coordination skills across diverse stakeholders.

  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in project reporting and documentation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
