Job Description
Overall Responsibilities:
- Lead a team managing a portfolio of hotels, driving asset performance to meet financial and operational targets.
- Collaborate with Hotel GM, Operator HQ, and key stakeholders to maintain relationships.
- Mentor junior team members to develop skills and critical thinking.
Strategic Planning:
- Understand the hotel’s unique business objectives, competitive landscape, and operational processes.
- Partner with hotel teams, consultants, and shared services to develop and execute project plans and budgets.
Driving Asset Performance:
- Align performance expectations between management and business units.
- Develop key performance reports, monitor forecasts, and track cash flow, AR, AP, and loan repayments.
- Create financial models and conduct operational improvements.
- Propose improvements to Hotel GM/Operator and monitor progress.
Competitor Benchmarking:
- Analyze market trends, demand, supply, and consumer volume to identify opportunities.
- Adjust strategies based on market conditions and data insights.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Ensure hotels maintain valid licenses and permits.
- Monitor insurance coverage and claims processes in coordination with relevant teams.
Administration:
- Manage Asset Managers/Executives and prepare management reports and papers for approval.
- Coordinate board meetings and maintain asset-related databases and files.
- Provide regular updates on asset performance and related tasks.
Other Assignments:
- Handle special tasks or contribute to project teams as needed.
Key Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years in hotel asset management, investment analysis, or hospitality finance.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Experience in hotel operations and investment performance management.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including hotel GMs and operators.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
