Job Summary

Manage audit projects as per annual audit plan and take a lead role in a day-to-day execution of internal audit projects, as well as providing a consultation or value-added advice for the management to improve the effectiveness of internal control process.

Job Description

  • Prepare audit program for each audit project to ensure that the test procedures are adequate and accurate and reflect the existing controls and actual operations.
  • Perform a lead role in the execution of audit fieldwork, provide coaching to internal audit team throughout the audit project and evaluate the adequacy of process design and the effectiveness of controls in achieving business and control objectives.
  • Follow up with management to ensure those audit recommendations are properly closed as agreed on time.
  • Prepare internal audit report, including audit findings, related risks/impacts of such findings, providing realistic recommendations to improve the internal control environment.
  • Provide advice on internal control and corporate governance matters, promote internal control awareness across the organization and perform any assigned tasks related to internal audit matters as assigned.
  • Assist on the secretary of the Audit and Risk Management Committee role, such as, setting up the meeting appointment, preparing a meeting agenda, proposing meeting documents, and preparing the meeting minutes.

Key Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field,
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal auditing.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate, particularly in retail malls.
  • Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • IT Proficiency: MS Office applications, Computer assisted auditing tools and electronic workpaper applications, such as TeamMate Analytic/Audit Management.
  • Professional knowledge: International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards).
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
