Job Description

• Provide strategic leadership for the project’s overall Safety and EH&S direction, ensuring all construction activities comply with Thai legal requirements and internationally recognized safety standards (e.g., ISO, WELL, LEED).
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the project-wide EH&S framework, including safety policies, inspection systems, risk-control strategies, and incident-prevention programs for all contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee high-level risk assessments from design through construction, ensuring early hazard identification, mitigation planning, and integration of safety into construction methodologies.
• Lead and supervise the Safety team, ensuring strong capability, consistent performance, and adherence to corporate and project expectations. Provide coaching, technical guidance, and cross-functional safety engagement.
• Ensure full contractor alignment with the project’s EH&S requirements through audits, compliance monitoring, and enforcement of corrective or disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Review and endorse safety inspection findings, ensuring all hazards are properly addressed and that risk-control measures meet both project and international standards.
• Direct major incident investigations, ensuring accurate root-cause analysis, robust corrective actions, and preventive measures. Communicate findings clearly with senior management and project leadership.
• Lead Safety Reporting at management level, providing accurate, timely updates on performance trends, LTI rates, compliance status, and key risk indicators.
• Ensure construction operations fully comply with WELL and LEED safety-related criteria, collaborating closely with sustainability teams to support certification targets.
• Drive a strong safety culture across all site teams, ensuring employees and contractors have capability to assess work risks, make safe decisions, and adhere to all procedures.
• Proactively assess emerging risks that may cause operational disruptions, safety incidents, or process failures, and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate strategically with project, design, engineering, and logistics teams to manage complex safety risks, site traffic flow planning, and construction staging.
• Oversee compliance with new laws and standards, ensuring timely updates to all safety documentation, risk registers, and internal procedures.
• Serve as senior advisor to project leadership on all matters concerning Safety, EH&S compliance, risk exposure, and contractor performance.
• Perform other senior-level responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Construction / Executive Management.

Key Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or related engineering field.
• 12–15 years EH&S experience in large, complex construction or mixed-use development projects.
• Strong knowledge of Thai legal requirements and international EH&S standards.
• Proven leadership managing safety teams and multiple contractors.
• Expertise in risk management, incident investigation, and safety planning.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in Thai and English.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety reporting systems.
• Able to work under pressure, make clear decisions, and influence stakeholders across project functions.
