Job Description

Pre-Opening Process:

  • Assist in assessment and supervision of pre-opening program

  • Collaborate with legal and finance & accounting team to review, negotiate, and finalize hotel management agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.

  • Coordinate with the legal department to support Power of Attorney requests and provide necessary company documentation.

  • Work with legal and hotel teams to ensure smooth contracting processes for outsourced services.

  • Collaborate with external affairs, PD, legal, and hotel operations teams to secure all necessary operating licenses and permits.

  • Assist in reviewing pre-opening budgets, employee plans, sales and marketing strategies, and month-end financial reconciliations.

  • Coordinate with hotel brands, procurement, and design to align on brand standards for mock-up room setup.

  • Assist in reviewing and coordinating with procurement team, hotel operator to define OS&E needed for opening and place order. Additionally, work with the finance & accounting team to prepare payment and ensure items arrive on time.

Key Qualification

  • Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related fields.

  • At least 8 years of hospitality experience, specifically in hotel pre-openings.

  • Strong legal background in negotiating Hotel Management Agreements (HMAs) and contracts.

  • Financial expertise in managing pre-opening budgets and month-end reconciliations.

  • Licensing knowledge to secure all necessary operating permits and legal documents.

  • Procurement skills to define, order, and manage OS&E delivery timelines.

  • Brand management experience ensuring mock-up rooms meet brand standards.

  • Strategic planning skills for sales, marketing, and employee manning plans.

  • Project coordination across legal, finance, and hotel operations teams.

  • Contract management for overseeing outsourced service providers.
