Job Summary

Responsible for executing and maintaining security and safety operations in common areas, including monitoring systems, handling incidents, supporting safety programs, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, permits, and regulations.

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day security and safety operations in common areas
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, and ensure effective security coverage
  • Conduct and supervise patrols across common, critical, and tenant areas
  • Handle incidents, emergencies, and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution
  • Execute safety checks, training sessions, and support fire evacuation drills
  • Manage traffic flow and crowd control during peak hours and events
  • Coordinate lost & found and provide emergency assistance when required
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and internal SOPs
  • Control and monitor work permits (e.g. hot work) and contractor/tenant access
  • Oversee loading area operations and ensure safety compliance
  • Support accident insurance processes and related documentation
  • Prepare reports related to security, incidents, and safety performance

Key Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Safety, Security, or related field preferred)
  • 2–4 years of experience in security operations, safety, or facility management, preferably in retail or building environments
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and security systems
  • Understanding of safety standards, emergency response, fire safety, and evacuation procedures
  • Experience in handling incidents, emergencies, and crowd or traffic control
  • Familiarity with work permit systems and contractor management
  • Basic knowledge of compliance, regulations, and accident insurance
  • Good coordination and communication skills, able to work with tenants and contractors
  • Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sense of responsibility
