Shape the future of places. Shape your future with us.

Real estate is a people business. At Frasers Property, we believe every space should serve a meaningful purpose - shaping how individuals, businesses and communities live, work and connect. Our properties are what the world sees, but our greatest assets are the people who make it all possible.

Who we are:
We are a diversified, multinational real estate group on a journey of evolution – strengthening our reputation as an integrated investor, developer, and operator across geographies and asset classes, including industrial & logistics, retail, commercial & business parks, residential and hospitality. Guided by our purpose – Inspiring experiences, creating places for good, we take a long-term view and strive to create lasting value for stakeholders.

How we work:
Every project begins with intention – shaped by local insight, community needs, and a commitment to sustainability and quality outcomes. Across the Group, we bring together diverse talents, perspectives, cultures, and strengths – from strategy, investment and operations to customer experience, technology and beyond. When we do, we create outcomes greater than the sum of our parts: vibrant places that connect, inspire, and uplift.

About the Role

At Frasers Property Australia, we don’t just create buildings; we create belonging and places where people genuinely thrive. To bring this vision to life for our residents, we rely on dedicated on-site leaders who ensure our communities are maintained to the highest industry standards.

Reporting to the Property Operations Manager, this is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused Building Manager to join our Queensland Development team based on-site in Hamilton, Brisbane.

In this pivotal role, you will be the heart of the community—taking end-to-end ownership of on-site operations, proactively maintaining pristine asset presentation, fostering collaborative relationships with residents and Bodies Corporate, and overseeing maintenance contractors to deliver an exceptional resident experience.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Estate & Asset Presentation: Champion proactive care across the community, ensuring all common areas, shared amenities, grounds, and facilities are impeccably clean, functioning, and presented to the highest standards at all times.
  • Stakeholder & Resident Engagement: Act as the primary, trusted face of the community—building positive, constructive relationships with residents, the Body Corporate committee, strata managers, the Community Manager, and on-site service partners.
  • On-Site Operations & Facilities Management: Coordinate daily building activities, including managing amenity bookings, overseeing smooth move-in and move-out schedules, supervising trade contractors, and monitoring SLA performance.
  • Administrative & Compliance Rigour: Maintain accurate resident registers, prepare timely and comprehensive operational and Body Corporate reports, coordinate maintenance correspondence, and manage work orders through building management platforms.
  • Safety & Risk Mitigation: Uphold workplace safety by implementing strict OH&S compliance standards, participating in regular hazard identification and risk assessments, and coordinating swift, effective responses to emergency maintenance issues when required.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, respectful, progressive, and real. You will also bring:

  • Experience: Proven experience in building or facilities management, ideally gained within a residential apartment, community scheme, or mixed-use precinct environment.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Sound understanding of Queensland Body Corporate and Community Management legislation and compliance frameworks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in building management software (such as MyBos or similar platforms) along with intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Communication & Customer Focus: Exceptional interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and written communication skills, with a natural flair for customer service and proactive relationship building.
  • Autonomy & Resilience: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities under pressure, and remain available for after-hours emergency escalations as needed.

What you can look forward to

At Frasers Property Australia, we believe the employee experience is a valuable asset that deserves great design and ongoing care. Together, we create:

  • Meaningful Work: Directly shape the daily living experiences and pride of place for residents within a vibrant, award-winning Queensland community.
  • Exciting Careers: Structured learning pathways, dedicated professional development programs, and opportunities to grow across our national property platform.
  • The Right Balance: Additional purchased leave options, comprehensive wellness initiatives, and generous employee discounts including 50% off Frasers Hospitality stays and residential property purchase rewards.
  • An Inclusive Culture: We are proud to be recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, a certified Family Inclusive Workplace, a White Ribbon Accredited organisation, and a Work180 Endorsed Employer for all women.
