Assistant Director, Design Management, Projects, Control & Sustainability
Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate with an architectural background who is equipped with an understanding of architectural design, regulatory controls and technical expertise to be part of the team.
Job Description
- Manage design deliverables for feasibility studies, development/redevelopment projects, AEIs, etc.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants on design solutions during design stage in adherence to the project schedule, deliverables, Design Briefs, stakeholders’ requirements, local statutory codes and regulations
- Manage research and analysis to identify market trends including good practices, specifications, new products & innovations, product USPs.
- Review and prepare comments to architectural design submissions under various design stages submitted by Design Consultant team
- Assist in managing and reviewing milestone deliverables from the Design Consultants to ensure the compliance and adherence to project schedule, scope, deliverables and Design Brief, Stakeholders’ requirements and comments, local statutory codes and regulations, and company guidelines
- Other tasks that may arise during the regular course of project design and delivery

Key Qualification
- Tertiary Degree in the field of Architecture or equivalent. Minimum 8 years working experience in the field of Architecture.
- Experience in mixed and/or integrated developments is preferred.
- Knowledge in local statutory codes and authority submission/application procedures
- Creativity, imagination and sound design sense. Good 3-dimensional awareness is required
- Good communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize designs and communicate them to others.
- Proficient in design software e.g. AutoCad, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop. Proficient in parametric modeling tools e.g. Rhino Grasshopper is a plus.
- Capacity to work in a challenging and fast-paced team environment
- Able to work independently and exhibit leadership
