Assistant Manager, IT FinOps & PMO
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial governance framework. In this position, you will be at the forefront of our transformation efforts, responsible for embedding robust financial discipline within our IT project management office. You will not only oversee financial controls and reporting but also act as a change agent, leveraging AI-enabled automation to streamline financial operations and drive significant process redesign. Your primary objective will be to enhance cost transparency, optimize technology spending, and empower the organization with data-driven insights to guide our strategic investments in technology.
Job Description
1. Data Analytics & Dashboard Development
- Own the visualization layer. Design, develop, and maintain of dashboards for:
- IT spend and budget utilization
- Forecast vs actual analysis
- BU showback and cost allocation visibility
- Project financial tracking and reporting
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
- Support development of KPI metrics and visualization standards for PMO reporting.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and alignment across financial and operational datasets.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Operations
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecast activities across IT cost categories.
- Assist in tracking actual spend against budget and forecast.
- Prepare variance analysis and financial summaries for reporting to senior management.
- Maintain budgeting templates, financial models, and reporting datasets.
- Support cost owners in understanding budgeting processes and allocation methodologies.
3. AI Enablement & Digitalization
- Support development of AI driven use cases, prompts, chatbots, and automation initiatives.
- Assist in creating AI-powered reporting, visualization, and financial analysis solutions.
- Contribute to digitalization of PMO and financial processes.
- Support testing, refinement, and documentation of AI workflows and automation improvements.
- Research and evaluate emerging AI and analytics tools relevant to PMO operations.
Key Qualification
- Strong understanding of IT financials, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Knowledge of IT cost structures, allocation models, and project financials.
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with governance models and project lifecycle management.
- Experienced in change management & driving user adoption.

- Experience in IT FinOps / cost optimization frameworks
