Job Summary

To leads the planning, design, and execution of new projects, including brownfield and greenfield developments, ensuring brand compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality guest experiences, while overseeing Mechanical & Electrical (MEP) systems and managing pre-opening processes for seamless project delivery and operational readiness.

Job Description

•    Liaise with the property owners and appointed consultants to propose their construction and development plans to construct or convert the existing buildings into service apartment / hotel residence to ensure the readiness of the property for operations
•    Liaise with the Owner/s and Appointed Consultants on the design development and construction completion for the various projects
•    Ensure compliant to Brand Specifications and Design Guidelines
•    Ensure compliant to the Local Codes requirement
•    Advise and support the Project Managers to ensure work is completed within the approved total development cost budget for the various projects
•    Ensure adherence to the project completion timeline
•    Proactively monitor progress and take necessary steps to ensure variations are aligned to the company branding specifications and service standards
•    Liaise with other internal stakeholders on issues relating to the Project and handing over of the Project upon completion.
 

Key Qualification

•    Degree in Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in hospitality design roles and project management. 
•    Excellent communication, presentation, written, and public speaking skills. 
•    Ability to assimilate new concepts and practices into the position and the department
•    Ability to drive design and technical strategies for hospitality projects (brownfield & greenfield).
•    Experience in project development, execution, and pre-opening processes within the hospitality industry.
•    Strong MEP knowledge to ensure systems for efficiency, sustainability, and compliance.
•    Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
•    Ability to anticipate risks, develop innovative solutions, and ensure seamless project execution.
•    Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
