Job Description

•    Optimise operations of the building’s equipment and systems
•    Plan and budget for the building’s operations.
•    Negotiate and manage effective building maintenance service contracts.
•    Ensure timely renewal and replacement of term contracts, building and regulatory licenses.
•    Identify, initiate, and execute special projects to improve and enhance the building operations.
•    Take part in Asset Enhancement Initiative discussions to ensure that all safety aspects are taken into consideration and any disruption to tenants’ business operations are minimized.
•    Liaise with Government bodies/Consultants/Architects/Contractors on building’s matters.
•    Ensure that building works are carried out according to procedure.
•    Supervise and uphold company’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance, safety, security, and welfare of staff.
•    Lead and supervise the M&E team which include Senior/ Building Executive, Senior/Maintenance Technicians and/or Senior Building Supervisor
•    Optimise manpower deployment and their performance.
•    Ensure all sustainability targets are met.
•    Ensure compliance to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and any other such International Standards which may be applicable.
•    Ensure timely submission of Management reports, Budget, and ad hoc reports as and when assigned.
•    Take on role of Fire Safety Manager/Senior Fire Safety Manager, if required or appointed (Where applicable)
•    Any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor/management.
•    Management of Utilities arrears
•    Develop good relationship with tenants/stakeholders.

Key Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of working experience in the Facilities / Mechanical & Engineering / Property Management fields 
  • Prior experience in managing buildings undergoing Asset Enhancement Initiatives is preferred. 
  • Senior Fire Safety Manager is preferred.
