Job Summary

The intern will support the Cybersecurity team in three key areas:  Monthly Security Advisory Creation, IT Control Self-Assessment (CSA) Program Execution and PCI DSS Compliance Scanning & Reporting



Job Description

The intern will support the Cybersecurity team in three key areas:

 

1. Monthly Security Advisory Creation

  • Research current cybersecurity threats and trends
  • Draft and publish monthly security advisories tailored to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure relevance and clarity

2. IT Control Self-Assessment (CSA) Program Execution 

  • Coordinate CSA activities across properties
  • Track control assessments and evidence submissions
  • Analyze results and assist in reporting findings

3. PCI DSS Compliance Scanning & Reporting

  • Perform Monthly PCI DSS ASV scans using approved scanning tools
  • Conduct Quarterly PCI DSS internal scans in coordination with IT teams
  • Upload scan reports to the compliance portal and track remediation actions
  • Assist in preparing summary reports for audit and compliance review

Key Qualification

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong written communication and research skills
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, PCI DSS, and IT governance
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and manage timelines
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools or compliance platforms is an added advantage
