Director of Sales, Sales, Global Accounts (Corporate)
Job Summary
This incumbent is a driven Sales professional who develop & secure strategic partnership across market segments within assigned portfolio. You will also work closely with Clusters and property DOSMs to ensure that the achievement of business plan objectives and sales & revenue targets, in accordance with corporate goals & targets, focusing on Key Account Management and RFP acquisition.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive direct sales lead generation to achieve assigned sales targets through key markets .
- Focused on acquisition and management of Key Accounts & RFP/ chain deals, with familiarity & experience in handling Travel Management Companies and Regional Relocation Agencies.
- Build relationship with key clients and work with clusters to drive additional revenue to the group
- Build new customers and grow the business
- Identify and develop new source market
- Has excellent people management skills and ability to network and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate, organize and represent the group at trade shows, sales missions & various networking events.
- Well versed in hospitality sales related systems (esp RFP tools) and the ability to train/ support clusters sales team.
- Result driven and the ability to multi-task and handle sales projects independently as assigned.
- Perform any other related additional duties or projects as required.
Key Qualification/ Requirements
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in a large hospitality chain, with minimum 3 years in a managerial capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism/ Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in delivering financial results by meeting or exceeding sales goals and objectives
- Strong understanding of managing global corporate accounts
- Regional experience will be advantageous
- Effectively bilingual with a good command of English and Mandarin is highly desirable
- Understanding the market and its competitors and ability to conduct market research and analysis to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Highly self-motivated individual who is able to meet overseas assignment requirements
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with customers and business partners.
