Job Summary
The Operations team is an important part of the Centre Management Office and plays a key role in ensuring pleasant ambience and smooth operations of the retail mall, so that shoppers will have a pleasant experience at the mall. The Intern will play a role in supporting the team in managing facitities and daily operations effectively and efficiently.
Job Description
As an intern joining the Operations team, you will have the chance to participate in Areas of Improvement Analysis by:
- Conducting physical audit to the mall’s operations to identify areas for improvement (such as workplace safety, shoppers/ tenants/ stakeholders management, cost savings, energy savings, mall’s cleanliness and ambience etc)
- Conducting market studies to support analysisThroughout your internship period, you will:
- Identify at least 1 area to explore opportunities for improvement
- Familiarization of preventive and corrective maintenance processes
- Familiarization of taking over / handing over of premises procedures (collaborating with Leasing Dept) and documentation, including onboarding new tenant (collaborating with Marketing Dept)
- Familiarization of and participate in preparing fire drill table top and physical drill exercise
- Assist to complete 1 taking over / handing over of premises from tenant / to prospect
- Assist to contribute to tenant’s design fit out
- Assist in managing contractors for submission documents, permit applications etc.
Key Qualification
Currently pursuing Degree in Facilities Management or or relevant discipline
Working knowledge in using MS Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
Able to multi-task, proactive and solution-based approach towards challenges
