Intern, Group Strategic Communications & Branding
Job Summary
The Intern will join the Group Strategic Communications & Branding team within Frasers Property to work on both internal and external communications campaigns and publicity plans, as well as potential upcoming assignments and projects with our branding and digital marketing colleagues. The intern gets to explore a future career in public relations and communications, while picking up important skills like storytelling and messaging.
Job Description
- Identify and pen engaging stories for our internal and external platforms.
- Provide support along the content value chain, including ideating and conceptualisation, writing briefs, reviewing and editing, compiling analytics, and executing content strategies across social and web platforms.
- Manage and drive internal campaigns with the team to help engage, educate and inspire employees, including developing materials that will engage employees.
- Daily media monitoring of topline news for the organisation.
- Any other support to communications, branding and digital marketing projects.
LEARNING OUTCOME
The intern will have the opportunity to learn how communications and branding can come together to positively impact and play an integral support to the organization. The intern will also learn how to flexibly adapt his/her communications and writing style for the different target audiences, sniff out great stories to write for the internal and external audiences and suggest how the contents should best be presented in today's dynamic communications world.
Key Qualification
• Creativity in storytelling and video editing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Powerpoint, Word and Excel
