Job Summary

The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in the SEAA cluster in developing and executing promotional strategies to enhance the brand visibility and drive guest engagement across the region. Responsibilities include assisting with social media content review, conducting market research, contributing to content creation for various marketing channels, and analyzing campaign performance. The intern will also help coordinate marketing events and promotions, providing valuable insights to optimize our marketing efforts and enhance the overall guest experience. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team.

Job Description

  • Content Creation: Assisting in the development of marketing materials, such as blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Social Media Monthly Review: Helping to ensure properties' social media content are up to brand standards, and timely submission. Includes doing market research, analysing and presenting new and fresh ways to approach and execute social content.
  • Campaign Support: Aiding in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives, email marketing, and property promotions.
  • Digital Marketing: Assist in managing the website content management system on AEM, including submission, review and editing of content, offer pages, blog posts and others.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing data from marketing campaigns and programs to assess effectiveness and suggest improvements, including rate parity issues
  • Administrative Support: Providing support to the marketing team in various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing data, and updating marketing databases.

Key Qualification

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create compelling content for various platforms.
  • Digital Marketing Proficiency - Familiarity with social media platforms and trends. Basic understanding of SEO, PPC, and email marketing
  • Ability to analyse market trends and data
  • Basic knowledge of tools like Google Analytics
  • Innovative thinking and ability to contribute new ideas
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe CC) is desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
