Intern, Operations (Alexandra Point)
Job Summary
We are looking for an intern to support the Building Management team in the day-to-day operations and to study ways to improve user experience at Alexandra Point and the Co-working Centre, Connect@AP.
Job Description
• Support building operations and perform day-to-day duties (e.g. routine checks of IT/AV equipment, basic troubleshooting of IT/AV issues)
• Work on sustainability projects (e.g. retrofitting of AHUs, gap analysis, etc)
• Assist with the planning and execution of marketing/communications campaigns for the property
• Prepare Quotations/Tender
• Complete tasks assigned pertaining to setup/coordination for bookings at The Commons/Theatres
• Propose initiatives to improve on operational efficiency/energy savings/Health & Safety/user experience for property and co-working centre.
• To carry out any other facilities management related tasks.
Learning Outcomes
The intern will gain a better understanding on building operations, including the unique experience of running a co-working centre and develop competencies in project management and stakeholder management skills. The intern will also have the opportunity to participate in sustainability projects as well as projects that aim to enhance user experience at Alexandra Point and the Co-working Centre, Connect@AP.
Key Qualification
- Knowledge in Facilities Management
- Basic IT/AV knowledge
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Able to write/communicate effectively
