Our Management Associate Programme is designed to accelerate the careers of highly capable graduates, through well-rounded functional exposure, structured rotations, comprehensive training, and dedicated mentorship—preparing you for future leadership roles within Frasers Property.

Job Description

You will be on a 24-month rotational plan that exposes you to different aspects of our Finance functions at Group and Business Unit levels. Spending six months in each rotation, you will get an opportunity to gain experience in the following areas:

 

Foundational Capabilities: Compliance & Treasury (Year 1)
In this period, you will execute core responsibilities focusing on financial integrity, compliance, and essential reporting:

 

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly closing procedures, management accounts, and related schedules for various legal entities, including Special Purpose Vehicles/Intermediary Holding Vehicles and Property Companies.
    • Prepare accounting papers to document investment holding structures and significant transactions within property companies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data essential for group reporting and analysis.
  • Operational Finance & Treasury:
    • Process daily treasury operational transactions, including the documentation and execution of bank loans, interest payments, and derivatives.
  • Group Reporting & Compliance:
    • Prepare and collate monthly consolidated management reports for designated Business Units (BU) and for overall Group reporting.
    • Perform variance analysis between actual financial results and forecast figures, providing commentary on deviations.
    • Collate data and assist in the reporting of Interested Person Transactions (IPT) and related compliance documentation for internal audit and regulatory requirements.

 

Advanced Capabilities: Financial Planning & Strategic Analysis (Year 2)
This period focuses on developing strategic finance competencies, decision support, and contributing to transformational projects:

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Assist in preparing financial models used to track performance, forecast results, and support strategic decision-making.
    • Analyze and articulate key business drivers that contribute to strategic planning and financial performance across the enterprise.
    • dentify opportunities to optimize costs and enhance financial process efficiency, proposing and implementing improvements.
  • Investment & Corporate Transactions Analysis:
    • Assist in the review of investment papers prepared for management and the Finance Committee/Management Committee, providing critical financial input.
    • Run financial proforma scenarios for complex investment restructuring exercises.
    • Assist in preparing detailed financial impact analysis resulting from proposed acquisition and divestment scenarios (M&A Impact Analysis).
  • Finance Transformation:
    • Actively participate and contribute to ongoing finance transformation projects focused on enhancing system capabilities, reporting efficiency, and data governance.

Key Qualification

•    Completing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
•    Strong understanding of core accounting principles and basic financial reporting standards.
•    Familiarity with financial modelling concepts and forecasting techniques.
•    Ability to manage, analyze, and validate financial data.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
•    Good understanding of variance analysis, budgeting concepts, and forecast vs. actual comparisons.
•    Ability to support operational finance activities, including treasury transactions, payments, and bank-related processes.
•    Strong organizational skills to manage month-end closing, consolidation support, and multiple reporting timelines.
•    Ability to work with audit, compliance, and internal controls, including preparing documentation for IPT and related reports.
•    Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial performance drivers.
•    Effective communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
