Job Summary

Job Description

  • Liaise closely with other functions, such as Finance Shared Service, Legal, Internal Audit, Tax and Treasury, on matters relating to financials, treasury, and business processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • Financial and management reporting
    • Furnish adhoc closing entries to GLSS
    • Review monthly closing, management accounts and schedules prepared by GLSS
    • Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis and data analytics
    • Prepare proposed distribution/dividend
    • Support FPL/FPS group reporting team for management reporting matters
  • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Preparation of budget and forecast, including variance analysis and data analytics
    • Support FPL/FPS group reporting team
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Preparation of statutory audited financial statements
    • Review of tax computations and tax returns
    • Review of GST returns
    • Managing tax queries and issues
  • Treasury management
    • Cash flow management, including cash flow projections and fixed deposit placement
    • Review treasury operational transactions – bank loans, payments of interests and derivatives
    • Monitoring loan covenants and undertaking
  • Stakeholder management
    • Business partner AM and PM team
    • Managing reporting to and queries from JV partners
    • Support ad-hoc information/analysis
  • Support ad-hoc special projects

Key Qualification

  • Graduate in Accounting or ACCA
  • Minimum 4 years experience in Finance or related roles, with clear knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations
  • Experience with using SAP will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Independent, responsive and pro-active individual with great attention to detail
  • Team player with collaborative approach
