Manager, Frasers Property Capital (Investment)
Job Summary
This position reports to the Director of Frasers Property Capital to support end-to-end capital transactions and corporate initiatives through financial analysis, committee coordination, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing investment management.
Job Description
- Responsible for reviewing, drafting and carrying out financial modelling, feasibility studies and proposals for capital transactions and/or corporate initiatives;
- Part of Group Investment Committee (“GIC”) Secretariat team to manage, conduct and document meeting materials (including review of capital transactions as tabled) and follow-ups with group business units and/or group head office functions (as relevant) to support the GIC;
- Supporting senior members to (i) originate, evaluate, negotiate and execute capital transactions and/or corporate initiatives, and (ii) engage capital partners (ie. sizeable investors) within the group (as required);
- Assist in market research and prepare various budgets / proposals to senior management, board and investors (if required);
- Work with legal, financial and other consultants (if relevant) on investment, merger & acquisition, structuring property fund and any related capital markets fund raising;
- Work with professionals and consultants to review and implement asset/investment holding structures that are cost and tax efficient to maintain; and
- On-going management of any investment or targets acquired (where required), including asset performance reporting and conducting hold-sell analysis.
Key Qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance or real estate business. Master’s Degree with CPA or CFA certification will be a plus point.
- Strong in financial modelling and conducting feasibility study.
- Possess good knowledge in corporate finance, capital markets, finance & accounting related field and/or investment management in real estate related assets.
- Experience working in real estate related firms or transaction advisory firms covering structuring, capital/investment management, investor reporting and engagement, due diligence or business valuation work are preferred.
