Job Summary

The Manager, Group Finance & Acccounting, Group Finance is a key member of the Group Head Office accounting team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting and financial closing processed by leading junior team members. You will be managing 22 investment holding companies, with local and overseas stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Deliver month end closing deliverables to Group Reporting team as well as overseas stakeholders in accordance to agreed timelines
  • Prepare quarterly GST returns
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting process, including preparing analysis and management reporting
  • Perform financial analysis and articulate insights via Excel, Powerpoint or any other visualization tools
  • Review and optimize finance processes, including maintaining SOPs
  • Provide close business partnering support to group head office departments
  • Prepare statutory financial statements
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors
  • Liaise with Group Taxation team on tax matters
  • Lead or participate in improvement/ automation initiatives
  • Undertake other assigned ad hoc tasks

Key Qualification

  • Degree in accountancy or ACCA
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in either external audit and/ or commercial organisation 
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred (good to have)
  • Strong collaboration mindset as this role requires working with many stakeholders in group head office set up
  • Candidate must be comfortable to independently attend to and solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skill as this role requires providing close support to internal and external stakeholders
