Job Summary
The Manager, Group Finance & Acccounting, Group Finance is a key member of the Group Head Office accounting team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting and financial closing processed by leading junior team members. You will be managing 22 investment holding companies, with local and overseas stakeholders.
Job Description
- Deliver month end closing deliverables to Group Reporting team as well as overseas stakeholders in accordance to agreed timelines
- Prepare quarterly GST returns
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting process, including preparing analysis and management reporting
- Perform financial analysis and articulate insights via Excel, Powerpoint or any other visualization tools
- Review and optimize finance processes, including maintaining SOPs
- Provide close business partnering support to group head office departments
- Prepare statutory financial statements
- Liaise with external and internal auditors
- Liaise with Group Taxation team on tax matters
- Lead or participate in improvement/ automation initiatives
- Undertake other assigned ad hoc tasks
Key Qualification
- Degree in accountancy or ACCA
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in either external audit and/ or commercial organisation
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred (good to have)
- Strong collaboration mindset as this role requires working with many stakeholders in group head office set up
- Candidate must be comfortable to independently attend to and solve problems
- Excellent interpersonal skill as this role requires providing close support to internal and external stakeholders
