Manager, Investment (Hospitality)
Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, Investment, you are involved in sourcing, responsible for evaluating and executing investments transactions. You will also be responsible to conduct feasibility studies on potential opportunities and make recommendations to senior management relating to investment or divestment or enhancement opportunities. Work closely with other divisions and/or consultants to raise funds and structure the transactions in the most practical and tax-efficient manner.
Job Description
- Involved in originate, responsible for evaluate, negotiate and execute investment transactions
- Present and market investment propositions to senior management
- Work with legal, financial and other consultants on fund raising and other capital market projects from time to time.
- On-going investment management of real estate portfolio in terms of forecasting market conditions and monitoring impact on financial returns.
- Work with professionals and consultants to review and implement holding structures that are cost and tax efficient to maintain and allow for income expatriation, asset divestments and capital up-streaming in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Keep up to date on developments in the industry and have a good understanding on all aspects of hospitality business
Key Qualification
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting, economics, finance or real estate business
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in Real Estate firm/Private Equity Funds/ Transaction advisory firm covering financial due diligence, investment banks or corporate principal investment teams or accounting firms, focused on the infrastructure hospitality sector
- Proficient with market and industry research in infrastructure hospitality
- Overseas market exposure preferred (UK/ Europe)
