Manager, Regional Operations (Southeast Asia & Australia) - Hospitality
Job Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Regional Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for ensuring brand standards and compliance are implemented at assigned properties. The candidate will also make sure that these are aligned with the company’s standards from pre-opening to fully operating; to ensure approved budgets are optimized and achieved.
Job Description
- Assist to lead pre-opening projects, prepare, and accomplish milestone schedule with all stakeholders, ensuring compliance to brand standards
- Prepare pre-opening budgets, including research on vendor and pricing, and innovation and sustainability opportunities
- Gather and analyse past financial performances and market statistics, to create project financial projections and analysis of properties’ performances
- Research and put forth concept development presentations for projects
- Create and present presentations to Owners, Consultants and Senior Leadership
- Conduct audit and present results to property’s GM, present suggestions to improve audit performance
- Review APAC properties’ quality performance, and present recommendations for improvement
- Assist to coordinate sustainability reporting, highlighting actions and progress development of APAC properties
- Source and build a portfolio of operations’ partners, vendors, and consultants
- Develop operations related templates and standards
- Assist to coordinate, evaluate, and implement roll out plan for projects
- Apply appropriate statistical and data analysis techniques/tools, to present data and trends to senior leaders in decision-making process
- Travel to properties to provide operational support when necessary
- Perform related ad-hoc related duties when required
Key Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business management, or other related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in hospitality or real estate industry
- Experience in pre-opening and/or audit
- Experience in supporting and leading projects while working with multi-functional teams
- Experience clarifying and summarizing complex issues, to tell an impactful story with analysis and data visualization, providing effective business metrics and insights
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, updating stakeholders on progress and expected delivery
