Job Summary

Supports the finance and accounting activities across a portfolio of hospitality-related entities operating across multiple jurisdictions.

 



Job Description

  • Process employee claims through Concur & check and arrange payments for 3rd party hotel operator
  • Partial AR billings – e.g. IT services and expense reimbursement
  • Month-end closing, including preparing accruals, BS schedules, revenue and departmental expense analysis, etc
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Conduct half-yearly inventory counts
  • Conduct annual fixed asset count
  • Prepare GST filings
  • Handle tax and audit queries
  • Prepare audited financial statements
  • Support corporate secretarial matters such as updating of new bank signatories
  • Courier of invoices
  • Participate in projects and system migrations (including data cleansing)
  • Additional ad hoc duties may be assigned as required

 

Key Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in full set of accounts including GL

  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
