Job Summary

The Senior Associate Director supports the Deputy Director, Finance in overseeing Frasers Property Singapore (FPS) group finance functions. This role combines technical accounting, consolidation and financial planning and analysis, with an emphasis on systems and process improvements. The role is expected to ensure integrity of financial and management reporting, provide insights through scenario analysis and support strategic initiatives in FPS.

Job Description

Group Consolidation and Reporting

  • Oversee consolidation of financial results, forecasts, and budgets for each business unit in FPS and FPS group.
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial results and provide clear and concise commentary on key business drivers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate group reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Liaise with FPS Finance team and/business to ensure consistency in reporting and accounting treatment.
  • Support management reporting decks and presentations for senior leadership discussions.

Technical Accounting and Governance

  • Review accounting treatment for complex transactions and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Provide guidance on financial and management reporting to FPS Finance team and/business.
  • Oversee and ensure proper reporting/approval of Interested Party Transactions in accordance with regulations.
  • Support audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors.

Investor Relation reporting and Annual Report preparation

  • Liaise with business and Head Office on information required for investor relation and annual report related disclosures and messages

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Prepare proforma financials and scenario modelling for new developments, acquisitions and divestments.
  • Build and maintain financial models to track project IRR, equity IRR and overall financial returns.
  • Consolidate cash flow projections and identify funding requirements
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor FPS Group Reporting team to strengthen technical competencies, collaboration, and ownership.
  • Mentor team members to ensure quality of work and professional development
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the finance team

Future of finance, automation and process improvement

  • Champion finance transformation initiatives, focusing on digitalization and automation.
  • Lead or support implementation and/or enhancement of finance systems and tools
  • Identify and drive continuous process improvement to improve accuracy, efficiency and productivity.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the finance team

Key Qualification

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • At least 8 years experience in Finance with experience in consolidation 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork orientation and ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
