Job Summary

Frasers Centrepoint Trust's portfolio comprises high quality suburban retail malls and an office building, strategically located next to or near the MRT stations and bus interchanges and in populous residential areas. As part of the Finance team, you will be involved in all things finance-related ranging from preparation of monthly consolidated accounts, analysis of financial results, statutory reporting, tax matters and so on.

Job Description

  • Manage finance and tax related activities for REIT malls
  • Provide senior management with timely, accurate, and relevant information and analysis on the financial performance of the group and working closely with Operations Finance team to provide a complete perspective on group performance.
  • Assist in preparing the statutory Financial Statements for half yearly announcements and yearly annual Financial Statements, including Accounting Paper.
  • Assist in reviewing the Announcements like Quarterly Business Update, Half-yearly results and Annual Report.
  • Assist in consolidating the financial results of the Group including preparation of the monthly accounting package to Group Finance team as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and YTD analysis of the variance against comparative periods and budget
  • Advise on cashflow management on foreseeable operational cash needs
  • Assist and support in preparing the tax return and CITQ
  • Assist and support in maintaining Interested Person Transactions
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting workstream
  • Build and maintain cordial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents and Trustee
  • All internal teams, including Group Finance team, Group Shared Services team and BU Finance team
  • Conduct research, benchmarking and analysis/ insights of industry and peers
  • Take charge of quarterly GST returns on a timely submission and ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and develop solutions for finance and tax related issues to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting process and internal controls
  • Any other roles and responsibilities assigned by management

Key Qualification

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related fields/ACCA
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in the audit and accounting /finance function.
  • Relevant experience in REITs and real estate would be an added advantage 
  • Well organised with an eye for details
  • Keen learner with positive attitude and team player 
  • Self-driven and able to work independently under tight schedules
