The Director, Information Technology role is part of the Frasers Hospitality Corporate and Cluster IT Team that provides technology leadership, vision and actively participate in the delivery of IT services, solutions and innovations for the business.
Job Description
Lead and participation in the planning, execution, and management of the Frasers Hospitality Regional Cluster (South East Asia Australia)
- Innovation initiatives at Corporate, Cluster and Property levels
- Cluster Hotel Pre-openings and Conversions
- Establishing and maintaining good business relationships with stakeholders to influence and achieve business goals
- Managing vendors to ensure smooth negotiations, collaborating with vendor teams to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Working with technical/business teams to ensure that requirements are feasible and in adherence to current Frasers Hospitality Brand Standards
- Monitoring and reporting on all projects in cluster.
- Ensure compliance of IT Policies, Standards and Guidelines and manage Cluster-specific requirements
- Maintain and updating of brand technology standards for the Regional Cluster
- Compliance mandates including and not limited to PCI-DSS, Data Privacy Laws
- Enterprise Infrastructure and Security
- Ensure IT Controlled Self-Attestation and Account Review Submission on time by Regional Cluster properties
- Conduct periodic review & audit of hotel or service apartments’ IT Infrastructure, Systems and Operations to ensure compliance to Frasers IT Policies and Standards both on site and remotely
- Conduct periodic review & audit of IT infrastructure, systems & operations, software applications, vendors, and service providers to ensure compliance to Frasers IT Policies a
- Accountable for state of IT Infrastructure, Security and Operations for the Regional Cluster and properties within the Regional Cluster
- Keep updated with general IT and Information/Cyber Security landscape
- Conduct regular reviews and meetings with IT personnel within the Regional Cluster
- Advocate Frasers Corporate Initiatives and Brand Standards with Regional Cluster properties and personnel
- Follow through to ensure timeliness and closure of critical IT findings by Corporate IT, Internal Audit or External Auditors
- Provide oversight, guidance and drive standards to Regional cluster owners and Properties IT budgets
Key Qualification
- Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members, property users and vendors and to engage with Property Owners Representatives and IT Consultants for Property Openings or Conversions
- Have problem-solving skills and assume ownership to ensure success of tasks assigned.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, to multitask and work in a deadline/time sensitive environment.
- Preference is given to individual which has the below skills and knowledge
- 4 years or more experience working in the Hospitality Industry (Hotels or Serviced Apartments) in a management role
- Strong vendor management skills and owner/stakeholder relationships management
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Opera/ HMS PMS systems and Hospitality Technology platforms.
- Have a good understanding and experience with Cloud Technologies e.g. Office 365, Microsoft Azure, AWS
- Have a good understanding and experience with server, network and virtualisation technologies e.g. VMWare, Windows Server, VLANs, WIFI
- PCI Compliance and Security Awareness Programs
- IT Policies, Standards and SOPs
- Hotel Pre-Opening Experience in multiple countries
- Flexible to travel within Regional Cluster
