Senior Manager, Operations
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager for Core Operations to oversee and ensure the effective operation of our facilities at retail malls. This role is key to maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient environment for shoppers and tenants. The Senior Manager will assist Head of Operations to lead the operation teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
Job Description
- Collaborate and work with buidling mangers, executive and technicians to develop and control all technical and facilities managment strategies and activities to ensure operation efficiencies for retail mall operations
- Review structure, processes and policies, set standards and best practices for the smooth operations of the assets under management
- Coordinate and manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, monitoring service levels, and ensuring timely performance of services.
- Plan and implement system audits and process improvement for efficient operation
- Manage budgets for facilities operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or safety.
- Prepare and present reports on facilities performance, project status, strategic initiatives and budget forecasts.
- Implement and manage sustainable practices that align with company goals, including energy-saving and waste reduction initiatives.
- Promote sustainable initiatives and green practices within facilities operation
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve facilities performance and reduce environment impact
Key Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role.
- Strong knowledge of soft facilities management services, safety regulations and maintenance protocols.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams, with excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for facilities operations.
- Certification in Fire Safety Management
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
