Job Summary

You will be handling revenue management and reservation of the hotel and manage day-to-day yield operations. You ensure that all target market segments are developed for the long-term benefit of the property’s business, performs competitive benchmark studies, and follows market trends. You also create and develop pricing strategies and manages all third-party distribution.

You provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons; analyses overall monthly sales performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies.

You work closely with other departments to ensure that the pricing strategies are implemented on daily basis. You are responsible for assessing, analyzing, and pricing group business strategies. You need to ensure the revenue team adopt best practice standards to include competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modelling, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, pricing control and new pricing concepts in reports to the management.

Job Description

  • Identify and articulate any revenue opportunities and issues affecting RevPAR index for Capri by Fraser China Square Singapore. Provide actionable solution promptly.
  • Provide reports and market intelligence through close monitoring of competitors performance, strategies and pricing structures to Revenue to assist in creating detail forecasts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Analyse Communications distribution channel performance to identify revenue opportunities, ensuring full optimisation of public channels, GDS, OTAs and other channels.
  • Support Sales & Reservation Department in analysing the demand forecast for the property and participate in producing an accurate financial forecast for the property on a regular basis.
  • Support management by implementing and enforcing revenue management and pricing strategy. To assist the Reservations Manager and Channel Distribution in managing the operations of the Reservations department including analysing inventory, room rates and occupancy levels, across all distribution channels to maximize hotel profitability.
  • To support various stakeholder in assessing demand based on market conditions, providing market insights and monitor pricing strategy to yield, manage occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR) daily to maximize profitability 
  • To develop and analyse marketing trending and statistics which includes supporting senior management team in yearly budgeting and P&L forecasting 
  • To monitor and analyse market and competitor trends and key performance metrics to recommend changes in revenue strategies. Work closely with Sales team to develop strategic programs to maximize hotel's profitability.
  • To recommend rates and availability controls for different channels of distribution and perform regular audit rates on all distribution channels to ensure they are loaded and updated
  • Perform related ah-hoc duties as required

Key Qualification

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance or relevant
  • Possess some knowledge of Revenue Management Software and Channel Management tool and must have strong background in quantitative and critical thinking, and data analysis 
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within the team.
  • Be meticulous, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way.
