Job Summary

You will be responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the hotel. You also develop strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.

You will identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize performance of sales team. You will be working with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.

Job Description

  • Develop and secure new business from domestic and international markets, and to maximize revenue from existing accounts 
  • Achieve a weekly / monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of sales meetings and new accounts.
  • Achieve an annual set of Revenue Targets. 
  • Maintain responsibility of selected key accounts.
  • Be proactive with locating new business through the appropriate media.
  • Work with the management to train new members of the Sales department.
  • Negotiate effectively to achieve an overall high Average Daily Rate (ADR).
  • Proactively drive revenue and secure business.
  • Ensure efficient administration of the department is taking place to support all sales activities.
  • Optimize room utilization by assessing the demand and supply for accommodation.
  • Manage special projects under the management's direction.

Key Qualification

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business or Hospitality or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of related working experience
  • Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with internal/external customers
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Independent and also able to work well in a team
  • Organized, prioritizes tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Pro-active, takes initiative to complete tasks
