Job Summary

Summer Internship – Asset Management Hospitality (Australia Portfolio, based in Singapore)

We are looking for curious learners, with a can-do attitude and want to have first-hand experience of working in our Asset Management department.
The intern will also work on developing a database of key performance metrics for relevant lodging real estate asset class, which may include internal data, industry statistics and benchmarking, economic & demographic data, and any other relevant data to support robust data-driven analysis and decision making. The intern will play a leading role in independently developing the project approach, obtaining user inputs, executing the project with guidance from the manager.
At the end of the internship, the intern will gained understanding on various lodging real estate asset class, experienced an end-to-end project development, applied research and data analytics skillsets in a real-world setting, and understand the processes of an asset management analytics function.
 

Job Description

•    Conduct research on relevant lodging real estate markets, industry statistics and benchmarking, economic & demographic data, etc.
•    End-to-end database development.
•    Assist in analyzing financial statements and performance metrics.
•    Other asset management related work scope.
 

Key Qualification

•    Strong in research and data analytics (e.g., data aggregation, data deduplication, error detection and data mining).
•    Advance knowledge in Microsoft Power Point and Excel (high proficiency in macros will be preferably considered).
•    Have good communication skills and flair to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
•    Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, to multitask and work in a deadline/time sensitive environment.
