Job Summary

Provide research, operational and strategic support to the Asset Management team/function in specific projects to enhance the operational capability and performance outcomes of the portfolio/asset under management. Performance outcomes refer to direct financial performance of the portfolio/asset and/or specific initiatives or action plan envisioned within the asset business plan/s.

 

The position reports to SVP Asset Management but will collaborate actively with members within the Asset Management team as well as counterparties in the Central Leasing/Business Process Teams. The appointed intern may be assigned to specific subject matter expert/s within the team for specific training or guidance in relation to a project.


Specific projects identified for the appointed intern to work on include:
• Market database
• ePMR (electronic Property Management Report)
• Marketing collaterals (offline and online)
• Business Plan/Management Reports
 

Job Description

Market Research:
• Further build up on existing research database to be maintained regularly as a “live” tracker for easy retrieval and referencing of market intelligence and other information.
• Said database should leverage on the current paid CBRE research reports and capture all known and rumoured key sale and lease transactions as well as comparable/competing building details.
• Collaborate with CLT to align information captured.

 

Strategic Marketing Support:
• Collaborate with CLT to review and improve on existing marketing collaterals to ensure consistency in formats and information, and research on other marketing tools (e.g. existing marketing websites/social media platforms) that could be proposed for upcoming business plan.
Performance Visualization:
• Assist with developing more creative and visually impactful PowerPoint formats for Management reports and business plans.

 

Portfolio Reporting:
• Assist to work on enhancements to the ePMR (in-house electronic reporting system) to align with reporting needs.
• This would entail assisting to gather and assess business requirements, establish the specifications, undertake UAT and implement the roll-out.
• Assist in the preparation of specific sections on the corporate Annual Report.

 

Asset Management:
• To provide operational support on specific asset management initiatives per business plan for FY25 and preparation of FY26 business plan.
• To prepare and consolidate property information and assist with engaging the appointed valuer for the FY25 valuation.

Key Qualification

Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in real estate, business or other discipline providing skills applicable to business/property analysis

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfortable with setting up financial models

• Good written and verbal communication skills
