Shape the future of places. Shape your future with us.

Real estate is a people business. At Frasers Property, we believe every space should serve a meaningful purpose - shaping how individuals, businesses and communities live, work and connect. Our properties are what the world sees, but our greatest assets are the people who make it all possible.

Who we are:
We are a diversified, multinational real estate group on a journey of evolution – strengthening our reputation as an integrated investor, developer, and operator across geographies and asset classes, including industrial & logistics, retail, commercial & business parks, residential and hospitality. Guided by our purpose – Inspiring experiences, creating places for good, we take a long-term view and strive to create lasting value for stakeholders.

How we work:
Every project begins with intention – shaped by local insight, community needs, and a commitment to sustainability and quality outcomes. Across the Group, we bring together diverse talents, perspectives, cultures, and strengths – from strategy, investment and operations to customer experience, technology and beyond. When we do, we create outcomes greater than the sum of our parts: vibrant places that connect, inspire, and uplift.

About the Role

At Frasers Property, we are committed to building stronger, smarter communities and sustainable precincts where people genuinely thrive. Connecting our high-profile developments and investment portfolios to robust, transparent financial and taxation outcomes is essential to our ongoing success.

Reporting to the Tax Manager, this is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a curious, commercially minded Tax Consultant to join our Group Tax team based out of our offices in Rhodes and Sydney CBD.

In this diverse and engaging role, you will be a vital member of a high-performing national tax function, providing comprehensive support across direct tax and indirect tax. You will work across a premier multi-entity portfolio spanning Frasers Property Australia (FPA), Frasers Property Industrial (FPI), Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust (FLCT), Frasers Hospitality (FH), and key Joint Ventures. If you are looking to step out of chartered accounting into a dynamic corporate environment that values mentoring, innovation, and career development, this role offers an exceptional springboard.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns, tax provision calculations, tax-effect accounting, deferred tax reporting, fixed asset tax registers, and tax forecasting across multiple entity structures.
  • Indirect & Employment Taxes: Support monthly and quarterly BAS/IAS compliance, analyse data exceptions for GST risk mitigation, assist with annual Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and monthly payroll tax reporting, and review land tax assessments and objections.
  • International Tax & Governance: Contribute to transfer pricing documentation, monitor global and domestic tax legislative updates (including ATO guidance), and assist with maintaining tax consolidated and GST groups.
  • Process Improvement & Analytics: Leverage technology and reporting software (including SAP, Business Objects, and OneSource) to streamline workflows, enhance data analytics on self-service platforms, and deliver actionable tax insights to business partners.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong, collaborative relationships across internal development, accounting, and treasury teams, communicating technical tax concepts clearly to commercial partners.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, respectful, progressive, and real. You will also bring:

  • Experience: 1–2 years of dedicated corporate or indirect tax experience gained within a Big 4 or mid-tier-chartered accounting firm (experience with property or real estate clients is advantageous).
  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Taxation, or a related commercial discipline. Having commenced or a desire to undertake CA, CPA, or a Master of Taxation is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of Australian taxation principles, including income tax provisions, GST, and tax consolidation fundamentals.
  • Systems Aptitude: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with exposure to enterprise platforms (such as SAP, Business Objects, or OneSource) highly regarded.
  • Mindset: An inquisitive, analytical problem-solver who takes initiative, demonstrates high attention to detail, and enjoys working collaboratively within an evolving corporate tax team.

What you can look forward to

At Frasers Property, we believe the employee experience is a valuable asset that deserves great design and ongoing care. Together, we create:

  • Meaningful Work: Partner directly with diverse business units across residential, industrial, commercial, and hospitality portfolios on purpose-led developments.
  • Exciting Careers: Clear career progression pathways, active mentoring from seasoned tax leaders, and study support to complete your CA, CPA, or postgraduate qualifications.
  • The Right Balance: Flexible, hybrid working arrangements, wellness programs, and generous employee discounts including 50% off Frasers Hospitality stays and residential property purchase rewards.
  • An Inclusive Culture: We are proud to be recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, a certified Family Inclusive Workplace, a White Ribbon Accredited organisation, and a Work180 Endorsed Employer for all women.
