Job Summary

Job Description

 

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements related to joint ventures, investment, property development, hotel management, EPC/UDA, etc. including its ancillary agreements.     
  • Provide strategic legal advice on corporate and commercial matters related to the Company business with a focus on construction contracts (FIDIC) and structured procedures under FIDIC. 
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations, translating them into actionable guidance for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal business units and stakeholders.
  • Manage litigation and disputes, working closely with external counsel.
  • Mentor and manage junior legal team members, encouraging culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.

Key Qualification

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Law (LL. B or LL.M) with a valid license to practice
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a law firm or real estate company (preferred international company)
  • Strong negotiation, persuasive, communication, and interpersonal skills, demonstrated through effective interactions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to give precision-driven legal opinion and advice to related business units.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical mindset.  
  • In-depth knowledge of construction, real estate and commercial regulations and laws, including market practices.
  • Fluency in both speaking and writing English.
